To reduce your data consumption on your android phone, follow these steps:
Step1: Open the WhatsApp application.
Step2: You will see a triple-dot icon at the top corner of the WhatsApp screen. Select this icon, and subsequently, a sub-menu will appear.
Step 3: Select settings from the sub-menu.
Step 4: Select the Storage and Data option from the menu.
Step 5: You will see a ‘Useless Data’ option with a toggle. Turn on this toggle to enable a reduction in data use.
For iPhone users:
To reduce your data consumption on your iPhone, follow these steps:
Step1: Open WhatsApp on iPhone.
Step2: You will see a setting icon at the bottom corner of the screen. Select this icon, and subsequently, a sub-menu will appear.
Step3: Select the ‘Storage and Data’ option.
Step 4: Top on using the ‘Less Data for Calls’ toggle under the Network section.
